Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess

Rock Band Open Mic Night | Student Center Cafe | Th 8-10PM | $45

Some have claimed that The Legend of Zelda is host to the most prolific video game music of all time, it’s booming choirs, roaring horns, and whimsical stings producing the most recognized and celebrated music in gaming history. Nintendo has celebrated this over the past three years with a series of symphonic performances of these classic Zelda tunes, and, by very happy coincidence, the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess Second Quest will be returning to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra for one night during Child’s Play Week. And the Digital Designers Guild has reserved 30 orchestral seats for UB students. Here’s a taste of what you can expect from the show:

If that video has tears forming in the corners of your eyes, then this is an experience that is not to be missed. Tickets are on sale for a discounted price of $45 on a first come, first served basis. Each UB student may purchase tickets for up to two additional guests. The tickets will dispersed in the Langsdale Library Auditorium starting at 7:15pm. Once the tickets are dispersed, we will make our way over to the BSO, less than two blocks away from the UB campus, at approximately 7:30pm. It’s sure to be a night of pure joy and wonder, and all in celebration of the Child’s Play Charity Week.
