Every year, hundreds of thousands of children around the world go through the most difficult part of their lives at far too young an age. Leukemia, Lymphoma, Cancer– they’re all very real parts of too many children’s lives. But when gamers give back, we can make a difference! We can make this dark time in these children’s lives at least a little brighter.
This is the Second Annual Perry McAlister Child’s Play Charity Arcade.
At the core of the experience is the Child’s Play Charity Arcade, our annual week-long arcade charity drive, the proceeds of which all go to the Child’s Play Charity Foundation. If you’re unfamiliar with the organization, they donate toys, books, and games to terminally ill children in hospitals around the world.
In addition to our Charity Arcade, several evening attractions will take place throughout the week after the arcade shuts down for the night! These attractions will include:
- Rock Band Open Mic Night | Student Center Cafe | Monday | 5:00 – 9:00 PM
- SuperSmashPeggle Tournament | Student Center Cafe | Wednesday | 5:00 – 9:00 PM
- Child’s Play Charity Gala | Bogomolny Room | Friday | 6:00 – 10:00 PM
